COLLABORATION IS OUR CULTURE

Collaboration has the potential to achieve much more than competition, especially when it comes to generating fresh ideas and promoting innovation. When people work together and share their knowledge and expertise, they can come up with solutions that may have been impossible to achieve on their own.

Dialogue is also a powerful tool for promoting full participation in the development of communities and societies. Through open and respectful communication, people can share their perspectives, experiences, and ideas, leading to greater understanding and empathy. This can help to break down barriers and foster greater cooperation and collaboration, ultimately leading to a more cohesive and supportive communities.

NETWORKING & COMMUNITY PARTICIPATIONS

EMYF runs a wide range of activities that aim to empower youth, helping them achieve their goals. It offers unique volunteering opportunities to gain hands-on experience and knowledge and links young people to different organizations and communities in order to share information, ideas and learn from each other.

Participants then become part of a global community of  like-minded souls, who:

• Give back to the community and shape the future of the youth through our unique volunteer opportunities.
• Connect with peers in the federation, share ideas, and get advice, whether directly through EMYF secretariat or through the EMYF team members as well as its national networks, youth workers and leaders.
• Make new friends and connections around the world.
• Enjoy professional affiliation and references opportunities from senior officials.
• Extend a professional network globally through the international youth gathering.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the UN 17 Global Goals, aim to create a better world by ending poverty, protecting the planet and ensuring that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by the year 2030. 
These 17 Goals are an invitation to action of each and every individual to make an impact on climate change, economic inequality, innovation, sustainable consumption, peace and justice. 
It is up to all of us to create a sustainable world for all young people by promoting respect, resilience, compassion and advocacy. 
We seek to make the move from informing to transforming our audience to take actions, raise funds, foster capacity building and improve the conditions of young people worldwide.

A NETWORK OF NETWORKS

We are an international network of 42 national networks of youth organisations. Each partner country has a head of network, steering committee and members of the national network.

Together we can make the world a better place for the new generation, and we believe that having a 'network of networks' in all Euro-Mediteranean countries will create a working environment in which young people want to learn and grow.
